A welcome that knows you.
Your name. Your mood. Your rhythm. An old-school Italian oste who reads the table and understands what could make these two hours yours.

The spirit of the Italian oste.
The art of making you feel at home.
01 / Our story
Gola began with a love of our land, Puglia, and a conviction: Italian cuisine should never lose its soul.
For fifteen years, our home on Fulham Road brought that spirit to London. A little irreverent. Deeply personal. A place where the food had roots and the welcome had no limits.
The London chapter came to a close in 2025. The relationships, the memories and everything Gola stands for live on.

Our Italian, without compromise
02 / The Gola way
Imagine walking in for the first time and feeling as though you had been coming for years.

Your name. Your mood. Your rhythm. An old-school Italian oste who reads the table and understands what could make these two hours yours.
Before your dishes arrive, a small tasting appears. You didn’t order it. We simply made something we wanted you to try — and your opinion matters.
The music. The conversation. The person looking after your table. Hospitality is the art of noticing, and making it all feel effortless.
Now stop imagining.
This happened. For fifteen years in London.
03 / One of the seven deadly sins
Gola. The Italian word for gluttony.
Our favourite sin.
For us, it is an invitation to savour. Our menus explore the ingredients long associated with desire in Mediterranean food culture: their stories, aromas, textures and the pleasure they bring to the table.
Beyond the familiar chilli, truffle, oysters and chocolate, our curiosity reaches into the everyday Italian kitchen — rocket, aubergine and chicory. A playful conversation between culinary history and the senses.
Culinary history, a curiosity about ingredients and the pleasure of sharing them.
“Do you know anything more exciting
than Italian cuisine?”
04 / The London years
Red walls. Candlelit tables. A thousand little details, each with a story. A few memories from our home on Fulham Road.
Gola, in motion
A glimpse of the feeling.
